Kitchen Pantry in Eggcamper

Latest mod: our spare tire is located in the closet by the door. This made using the space very awkward, and it was mostly a "utility" closet....the canopy, bungee cords, spare batteries, fans, etc. We used a plastic bin to store food, and kept that under the bed. So fIrst we made a wooden shelf to fit right above the spare tire (which can be lifted up if we ever need the tire), and then we found stacking bins to take advantage of the vertical space. Now it holds paper products, our dry goods, pots & pans, electric skillet, cutting boards, and more! Then we made an additional mod to the inside of the closet door. I bought another Grid (same as my kitchen Galley Mod) and attached using mirror clips. This holds all the items my husband always asked me to hand him when he is outside. So now he can just reach in for the tongs, fire starter, rag, scissors, etc.

Sue,
The plastic bins are from the Container Store. But now we have built in two (removable) shelves above the spare tire. I still use two small stacking shelves in there, but having built in shelves makes the space easier to use.

Love the grid! Where did you find it? Does it come in different sizes?

Thanks,

Grid system is from the Container Store...they have two different sizes and lots of options for baskets, shelves, hooks, etc. I did the first one over the sink, using Command Hooks, no holes drilled.
