Tim - I found that yachtlights.com has the short neck version in white for $50. But any other colour or length will add $100.

Bill - no kidding - it seems the only commonality between little fiberglass trailers and little fiberglass boats is the fiberglass. The pricing of everything boat wise is insane. Good thing I'm landlocked.

I think the one I have coming from PPL will probably do me just fine, but the one from West Marine looks good for a good price too should I need something different.

That's nice but for the money I like the West Marine one , for a led light. And @ PPL for 10.14 its not led but really hard to beat.

Keith...

The West Marine "eyeball" LED fixture is perfect for reading, just the right amount of light and adequate adjustibility.

I "cheated" and removed the eyeball part from the plastic base and built my own "base" to mount to the divider in our Casita SD.

Norm, I wanted to let you know that I received my two map lights today from PPL. They are very nice and here is the kicker, they will take an led replacement for an 1156/1141 bulb. And I already have some from replacing some bulbs in my Scamp. You may not need to change over to led if you are hooked up most of the time, but I do a fair share of boon-docking. Great light for a nice price.

I bought the 200 lumen bulbs and they are equally as bright as my CCFL's while the older LED's they replaced were much dimmer. I like that the heads swivel to point the light in the proper direction. No changing my fixtures, these replace the original 1156 bulbs and fit in the flat square fixtures!
I just bought the Revolution 150's at an RV store for $18.99 each, I bought two of them for my lights over the storage cabinet in my CT-13, I am very pleased at the bright white light they give off.

I've got the Revolution 150's in all my light fixtures including the porch light which has an amber cover. Got all mine about a year and half ago at Quartzsite for $14.95.

Some people think they are too bright but hey if I want a light, then I want one I can see by. "A mole I'm not."
