Cool LED Lights

Had been interested in LED lights because of the heat put out by the regular incandescents, but was put off by the price, $26 at my local RV supply.
Now at the Yuma indoor fleamarket at 32nd and 4th I found them much more reasonable. I bought two of the 16 LED panel type ($15@) which project their light in one direction. I installed them and was happy, but noticed that the fixtures tilted the bulbs toward the persons sitting at the table and not on the table. So I took a pliers and was able to bend the tang that holds the socket, and now the lights light up my table just fine for playing cards, eating, etc.

I replaced all the lights in my camper with 1156 w/18 lights. Got them off Ebay for $8.95 each.
They said something about having a light on the end that they took off and soldered up, so they put them on sale. I'm happy with the output and price. Not to mention (oops, I did) the savings in power!
Here's the link if anyone wants to take advantage of it

Another option: At $2.91 each post paid - Cheap from Hong Kong These do not have built in voltage regulation, but if they burn out they are not any more expensive that incandescent lamps. I haven't lost one yet...

Looking again, yours have a different base than the 1156. I guess your camper is newer.

oops! looking yet AGAIN, I see the adapter for the 1156.

Good buy!

This is the light, then I made a cord with a cigarette lighter female end, and put a male end on the light end then it just clamps on the battery
