If your current lights are the rectangular ones(bargman), etrailer.com sells a bargman LED that will fit over the same holes as the ones on your trailer. If it's the round ones, look at the commercial listings here-good inexpensive ones)

Can't you just buy LED bulbs to replace the incandescent bulbs in your current tail lights?

You can buy replacement LED bulbs for the lights. I did that and found that they are not as bright as replacing the whole fixture and you still have the problem of older bulb sockets that no longer make good contact. When replacing just the bulb, much of the light is still reflected light. When I have the chance, I am replacing the entire fixture.

I did replace the interior lights with flat LEDs wired to a base that fit in the old fixture.

I can attest to the ones Chuck sells, they are excellent and at a great price too.

Chucks LED 7" lights are great. Just remember you may have to fabricate a lic plate holder and add lic plate lights but that goes for any of the 7" transit lights.

If none of the others work for you go to the RV section at Walmart. They have very inexpensive LED side marker and tail lights that are the perfect size and did I mention cheap.

Be aware that the Bargman LED replacement fixtures are sealed and not repairable. I had one fail after two years. The cost was over $40. I am a big fan of LED lights. I think having the full lens illuminated is safer. But they are pricey. Raz

We replaced the rectangular Bargman's (apologies for the dirty Scamp in that photo!) with the Bargman 07's. Two of the holes from the old lights lined up with the new lights, one was hidden under the new fixture and one we plugged with butyl tape.

The new lights DO have a license plate holder although we had to get slightly longer bolts. There are no backup lights but we decided that wasn't as important as brighter taillights for going forward!
The part of the unit that houses the lights IS sealed. The lens does come off.

It is really nice to have brighter taillights!

I like the shape of those tail lights. Look like lil tennis shoes. Cool! Much better to be one of one, than one of many IMHO!!

Thanks Donna - we like them too! And they weren't hard to install. You can also mount them in any orientation you like. This worked best to use and cover the existing holes.

Fran, check the plastic license plate tabs fairly frequently, as I had a friend lose a license plate when they broke off after a few years of use.

Actually I found a way to use the original lic plate holder without any modifications needed. You can purchase from a motorcycle or ATV shop small bolts for attaching the lic plate to the holder that have LED lights built into the bottom half of the heads which light up the lic plate.
