Li'l Bit gets a badge

Just thought I'd post a pic of the vinyl graphic we had made up for our scamp

Sorry it's a bit crooked. And I thought I'd also post some interior shots since we just tuned it up a bit.

And one of our funky curtains

And one last one of the Scamp Mascot...

We just picked up a couple of Vintage Schwinn Cruisers that have never been restored and should make perfect bikes for camping. Next trip planned for a couple weeks from now....

Love the colours! Where did you get the material for your cushion shown in the second picture? Those colours would match my interior.

Sorry for the delay. Those pillows were originally used in our house and then no longer matched when we did an update of some furniture. We got them from Pottery Barn about 3 years ago I believe. Hope this helps....

Ok,just have to add to the other comments..."love It" You have done such a good job with all your colors and fabrics.

Next I would like to see the bikes when you get them restored.

Happy Camping,Lynn

Ask and you shall receive. These are essentially original Chicago Schwinn's. We replaced wheels and tires and that's about it. Lot's of style and we don't have to worry about them getting beat up.

My wife added the side baskets and we have a little trailer we can pull behind the bike for things from the camp store or our dog. The plan is to add a Scamp decal to this bike trailer for kicks.

Gorgeous! I had mentioned several months ago I wanted a simple bike like that, and he says: "but it doesn't have any gears!"

Love the fun colors and the bikes!
What year is the scamp and how did the exterior so bright and glowing?

Thanks for the comments. Our Scamp is a 1992. Before we purchased it, the last owner had it detailed. We'll be moving it to an indoor storage facility next month so it stays in good shape throughout our rough SF Bay Area winters where temperature can drop to 40 degrees! Since this is a California Scamp kept in the bay area, it's probably done a little better due to our mild climate that's not to wet, cold or hot....

But that salt air can do great damage to metal parts.

I like the badge. So that's what they are called.

Thanks for posting the bike pictures. They are just great.....my DH has one very much like yours, but is a copy(built in 2001) that was a gift from DD. We have been looking for me one,and think we have found one. I don't like gears so one like yours would be perfect for me.

Happy Camping,...Lynn
