Looking for a TV/DVD Combo What Do You Have?

We are looking for a all in one TV/DVD combo unit for our Casita. Any good one out there? What about the under cabinet ones? Have they improved? Ideas

Best Buy is where I found mine. A 19". They also had a 24". Wally World also has the combo.

Tv/dvd

I started with a 19" Emerson. $179 I found it a bit small and stepped up to 24" $229 Supersonic. Both were 12v/110v.
If you leave the back bed down all the time I think you'd be happy with the Premier Flip mount.

Another cheaper option

I put one of these in my Uhaul after seeing it in a few other Uhauls at a rally last year in Cherokee, NC. I installed it behind the sink, on an extending locking wall mount, so it is permanent, and it can be viewed from all angles. Also installed a stowable exterior antenna. Made in China, has a great picture and I REALLY LIKE IT! (be careful to get the 12V one as they make an almost identical model in 110V)

Haier also makes a 24" TV/DVD combo unit that can be run on 12 VDC as well. We have one in the Lil' Bigfoot and it's perfect, great pic, low power draw.

The 22" RCA combo unit that is sold at WalMart plain SUX.... Poor pic quality as well as a reputation for DVD players that cr@p out, if they even work.

A laptop with DVD drive and tuner would work. Easy to stow away, too.

Bob (above) is right on target...however, we got our (AC/DC) TV/DVD for our Trillium at a truck stop along the I-75. We liked the one for the Trillium so much, we went back & bought two for the Airstream & another one for our sailboat.

Does anybody have a Proscan?
No namer. Reviews say its a 12v but doesn't come with the cord. What mount is hot and popular? We might not mount ours, just set it on the shelf so we can use it in our bedroom when at home.http://www.walmart.com/ip/Proscan-19...Specifications Hard to beat the price. What are your thoughts on Walmarts extended warranty? $15 for two year. We don't normally shop at Walmart and never do extended warranties but with so many problems with these TVs, but then again what to expect from a $100 TV

Here is a Television Mount Thread with lots of info and photos of various types. I like the one I use as it is one simple click of a lever to take it down and put under the bed covers when traveling - when the TV is not in place the holder is hardly visible. Not the cheapest little mount but its what I prefer aesthetically when the TV is not along for the ride & its not a space hog.
