New owners, but wanting to modify our king size cushions to a regular mattress. Is there room for a queen size mattress or do we need to stick with full size and suggestions on where to purchase a mattress.
Thank you, I am already onto Southern Mattress. I would just like some feedback on their mattress'. I don't like the thought of buying a mattress without trying them.
We use a 3 inch gel foam mattress topper on top of the regular cushions - a queen size leaves room on the sides for the wall cushions. Fits well, and rolls up into a 12 inch tootsie roll (secured by sleeping bag straps) we leave by the rear window when we want to use the benches during crummy weather.
LOTS cheaper than a Southern Mattress; got it at Costco.
