Measurements needed Boler 13'

Hello friends, I am working on planning modifications. If anyone can help, I need the dimensional measurements of the internal components. What I mean by that is the length, width and height of the dinette benches, front sofa, closet to the left of the door, and the kitchen counter that holds the sink, stove and fridge. I also need the height of the back window from the dinette bench to the bottom edge of the window. If someone would have the time and energy to do this, I will send you the model I complete in Sketch up so you can use it planning your own mods. Thanks very much for all the help I have gotten from this forum. I look forward to posting my plans and progress for you all.

BTW, my Boler is still up north. Just asking for these numbers so I can design my mods accurately and make a materials budget.

Hi Lisa,

I have a 13 foot Boler (1969) that I just semi-reno'd last year. I am stopping by it (live in the city so not parked at my place) hopefully this weekend to do a few things so if you're not in a rush, I could fire these off to you Saturday probably?

Sure thing - not a problem at all. I can definitely fill you in on my reno but you can also find some info in the maintenance and modifications section under "my little project - 1969 boler". Truth be told, I am starting to wonder if mine might be a 68. After some reading about the history, the consensus seems to be that the flat top mold was used the first year and 100 were made with this design, which was changed in 1969. So I am not sure if that means mine was made the first year or if it was made the first part of 1969. Hoping someone at the meet up in Oregon can shed some light on the situation.

I'll get back to you Saturday with the measurements.

Word of caution. Not all Boler's where built at the same plant &/or came from the same mold so you should not expect all Bolers to have the same measurements. Also due to age they can sag/expand. I would be very hesitant to spend time building &/or designing any fixtures without using the trailer I was putting them in as the template.

Well I'll be working in sketch up so changes are easy. This is only to help perfect design. I'll do the exact measurements once I have mine nearer.

AAAGH! Totally forgot (long story, but I set the alarm off at my friend's place so got totally distracted dealing with that). I'll see if I can do it still this week sometime. So sorry!

Okay -- here you go. But yes, these are rough estimates, based on my wobbly '68, but as long as you're just fiddling around right now, they will give you a starting off point until you can measure your own exactly. Not sure what year yours is, but dimensions have likely changed since 1968 was the first year. Anyhow -- enjoy!

Front sofa: 75.5 inches long, 27.5 inches deep from wall, seat is 15.5 high from floor.

Dinette benches: 13" high from raised floor, 44 inches wide, 22.25 inches deep

Dinette bench to bottom of window, 19-20.25 inches depending on if you measure to window or to trim

Kitchen: 18 inches deep (I have an additional 3/4 inch plywood backsplash so from wall may be closer to 19), 36.5 inches tall, 45 inches wide.

Closet: 40 inches deep, 67 inches high, 20.5 inches wide.

Thank you sooveroo. These will help me greatly to do something in sketch up. I will post it if I can so you can all see my plans.

40" deep? Could that be a typo?

I have a Scamp, very similar, at one time they used the same molds. I probably won't get a chance to measure, but I'd say the closet is about 18-20" deep.
