I've just about decided to install a mirror on the outside of the bathroom door and have a question about installation.
I've seen the factory installed ones and they appear to be screwed on. They appear to be just like the lightweight ones I have seen at the linen stores. I was wondering, since the screws do not penetrate the door and the doors are thin, if they might use mirror adhesives as well. I could call the
Casita factory, but was wondering if anyone has installed one themselves and what luck they have had with them bouncing down the highway after a DIY installation.
Also, the placement. I assume they are off-centered because of the handle placement. Is it placed as far left as possible, next to the caps on the hinges?
Does the added
weight with two towel racks on the other side of the door have any long term ill-effects?
Thanks for the feedback.
