I put slats where the table would be when folded down since there was no table when I got the scamp. I use a tv table instead. They are spread out and connected with burlap straps. Looks similar to your lattice work. Too bad I didn't think to do it under the whole bed set up!

This is the stuff I want to buy. 6 ft of this stuff would probably be enough to ventilate my bed area if not behind my library. Still a big investment but worth it if it works!

I had a couple of Coleman Convoluted Camp Pads left over from our tent/sleeping bag days. Since we weren't using them I cut them into strips slightly wider than the cushions are thick, and use them as a barrier between the cushions the walls. We have not had a wet cushion problem since I did this. I remember to tuck the bedding between the barrier and the cushion so that I can see the barrier at all times.

The bunk platforms in the Fiber Stream are pegboard, and the ventillation to the compartments below keep the bottoms dry.

I actually have one of those pads stuck under the wettest part of the cushion right now! I did it because the foam was compressing too thin to be comfy but it does seem to be working for that too. Maybe I should just buy more of those...
Supposedly that hypervent stuff doesn't compress but I don't know I'd I want to invest so much money in stuff that I have never even felt how stiff it is.
