More windows

Well, time to start my post on our Boler rebuild. We started in April with removal of door and changed that window as my other post showed. Then we stripped interior and removed all the windows, we wanted to upgrade to new style Jalousie type windows, then the fiberglass work began.

When we went to Backus (the Scamp Factory) in April we saw the new Scamp had a sliding rear window and little window by the stove. In June we went back and bought them. The stove window was not a problem as I had to just cut the hole for it. The rear window was more work as I had to reshape the back of the trailer from a curve to a flat back.

Hello Craig. Thanks for sharing you project. I am sure many like myself enjoy watching folks make their trailer their own. What you are doing will no doubt inspire others so keep the photos coming. Thanks again, Raz

If you still have the frenched tail light buckets, I would imagine you could sell them easily. Guess you decided not to go with the 7" Round LEDs...

I'd sure rather be watching the work than doing it!

We decided to go to St Malo to the Bolerama, so the rush was on. Next came the primer, after a whole lot of sanding.

When I had the shell off the frame to repair the floor I modified the back of the frame to allow me to build a rear bumper to accept the rear jacks from Scamp. So the night before the rally the bumper got built. As well I had to exchange tires from my utillity trailer.
