I Picked up this 72 Boler at the end of last fall. It sat all winter and I waited for the snow to stop so I could start working on it.

The trailer came pretty tidy on the inside with the walls being scrubbed and all the wiring and propane lines pulled.

Things I've done since I've had it:
-Replace the flooring with Wood Laminate.

-Did all the trailer wiring, along with adding the marker lights, and adding LED tail lights.

-Redid the 110v wiring. Added 3 outlets, 2 on the counter and 1 inside the cabinet by the fridge insert. The wiring was done to a breaker box with 2 15amp breakers.

-Cut some shelves for the cabinet.

-Redid the countertop with one I found at Ikea. It had to be cut to size. I just used a Circular saw with a 120tooth blade. I cut the holes for the sink and stove with a jig saw.

-I decided to paint the outside with Interlux Brightside paint. First I've primed it with Interlux Primer. I've decided to do White and Sea Green. The painting is a little hard as the PO decided to coat the front and back with truck bed liner. This adds a bumpy texture, I've sanded as much as I've wanted to to flatten it out.

I'll post some pictures of the finished paint in a bit

I found a Waeco 12V fridge on Kijiji, so it'll make it's way into the Boler. I just have to figure out how I want to run the 12V system...

The inside was painted by my girlfriend. A cream colour to go with the cushion material she has picked out. We have ordered new foam and she'll be making new cushions.

This is after 3 coats of Interlux Brightside paint. I've sanded and then wet sanded before the final coat. Up close, it's not a professional job, but for the price I paid(probably >250 for paint and supplies), it's pretty nice.

Looks nice to me too Darragh

What's the purpose of the diamond plate on the back?

Thanks for posting the update pictures, it'll be great to see the finished product

To tell you the truth, I got it from the PO with the Diamond plate on the back.. I haven't really looked into why it was placed there. There is no damage to the inside rear of the trailer. It could be that the frame was replaced and raised in 2002. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I'm a fan of diamond plate, so I was just curious. If it's really shiny it may keep someone from following you too closely when under tow in the dark

How did you apply the paint? In the pictures it has a real nice shine. Looks great.

I used the roll and tip method. I first rolled on 3 coats of Interlux primer with sanding in between coats. I then rolled and tipped 3 coats of the Brightside with sanding in between the last 2 coats. I did a 4th coat on the Green but didn't notice that much of a difference.

I'm just waiting a few more days before applying any wax.
