My 73 Boler Build

Well its time. I've put the Boler in the garage and began to remove the frame and axle. We have owned it for a year now and spent one night in it. The previous owner had removed the fridge, stove etc. So its more like a hard body tent. We are not sure what we are going to end up with, but we will start with this.
With a wood floor, it makes a little more difficult. They screwed the floor down from the top into the frame, at leased that's the way this one is. We are only doing this for now, so I didn't want to pull up the lino. As I go along I will send some pictures.
Vic

Well we got the old frame out. I'm glad I started here. The old frame has seen better days.

I'm not sure if any of you seen, I started this thread a while back. We have got the new frame welded together, and I just found out the axle is in. We have test fit the frame and its ready for the axle and paint.

Have the frame in place and axle kind of in place.

Well the frame is 99% done. We have to cut the pan materieral back at the door opening, one more test fit and off to blast and paint today, I hope.

Nice work.

I'm amused that when I suggested in an old thread that a trailer that was built without brake attaching flanges could have them welded on I was greeted with , yet you are building a whole new trailer frame and.......... nothing.....

For my plans with this unit, there won't be much for weight. I bought without anything inside. About the only thing I may put in is a fridge and a stove top.
