Very nice!! We are doing the same thing up front. Turning the bunks into a table area. We are putting a porta potty under one of the benches though.

Love the 76 theme!!

Thanks, Kim
The original lower bunk seats were too low to sit at a table- I had a fiberglass guy make them higher, at sitting level- lots more room for a porta potty- you could even have one in a drawer that pulls out...

Scamp door sag fix

Here are pictures of the support for my sagging Scamp door.
I had a body shop fabricate a piece that is welded to the frame and extends upward, inside the fiberglass body, so that the hinges are bolted into a steel rib that is braced to the frame. Additional bracing under the door step.

Really nice job Tom, I like what you have done with it. Great patriotic theme too! Very impressed.

what brand of SMALL microwave did you find ?

I hung the very small microwave from aluminum strips bolted to the upper cabinet- as others have done. No problems with it at all.
Bill, I used a trash can lid as a template and drew around the wheel. I cut that around with a jigsaw. No problems at all- you can see that there is plenty of room- and it's much easier to change tires. I thought it gave a sort of sports car look...

Thanks, everyone, for your interest. Happy camping. ThomKat[/QUOTE]

Mirowave for two

what brand of SMALL microwave did you find ?

I bought a 7 cu ft Magic Chef microwave from Home Depot. It was only about $69, and it's very light.
