My first Mod—Stone guard to awning -77 Scamp

Well, this is my first mod. I'm the proud owner of a 1977 Scamp 13. I wanted to use the stone guard as a small awning so I bought a tent pole kit for 4.95 from Academy sports. Coghlan's Tent Pole Replacement Kit | Academy. I like the way it came out. Everything I needed was in the kit. I didn't have to cut or measure anything. Here it is:

Pretty nice. I like it and this looks a lot better than sliding the rock guard under the camper while camping. I think I'll try it! Thanks for the pics!
