Doug..

it was mounted on the same bracket... The part towards the front is bolted to the trailer itself...( pic #1) The guy did put a support on the back inside the trailer, which i thought was good because of the fiberglass.

Hi, Christi - your new awning looks terrific. Did you order it from the same person who installed it for you? We are glad to see you posting, as we had been concerned about your during the awful storms & damage up your way. Hope to see ya out 'n about as we travel. Take care, L 'n D

Christi, I'd never seen that particular model of awning before but I have seen some like it.

I was wondering about the attachment to the trailer (via an attached track) because of the climate here in the sPacific North Wet!!! The awning on our 13ft Trillium attaches to the trailer via a track attachment which helps keep those pesky rain torrents from cascading down the outer sidewall of the trailer. We spend too much time outside (even in the rain) to worry about rain somehow leaching through or onto some of our outdoor nice-ettys, quite often a coffee maker or T/V, blender or sound system may be set up on a potable table set up right against the trailer wall...

Are you located toward the North West part of WA???

It's the same awning as the A&E Horizon and the Fiamma awning that Casita uses, except the pole loop is in back as you can see rather than the front.

Glad you posted your awning Christi as some 5th wheeler have thought it couldn't be done. I told them to use the same brackets but maybe shore them up or add an additional for stbility. I note that you have mentioned an additional support.
