My Snoozy ReDoozie

It's hard to improve on a great concept, but we purchased an early Snoozy off the production line (#15). I will attempt to post pics of my remodel I have been working on. Essentially, I rebuilt the main vertical cabinet near the sink to be deeper and wider with a drawer. Also added a cabinet near the bed with a shelf over the window. The space below the microwave was converted to three pullout drawers and I moved the electrical panel to where the newer Snoozies are located. Also little things like changing the knobs at the bath door to finger pulls and adding a TP holder which is a Walmart purchase, slightly modified. I think I'm done for a while....but you never know. Should this be posted in alterations forum??

Looks nice. What was on the bathroom door before? A knob?

nice job, did you have the Smoak's install a backer for the new bedside wall cabinet or just attached to the one side?

This has really added a lot of storage to the Lil Snoozy. That was one thing that we felt the trailer lacked when we looked at it. Now they could only find a way to turn the bed the other way, it would be a great camper.

great job Glenn! Very nice modifications on the cabinets. Really like your vertical cabinet.
We are busy enjoying our Lil Snoozy.
Modifications will have to come in the cold months when we are buttoned down.

Thanks for the comments. The bathroom door just had cabinet knobs on both sides of the door. I would get my shorts "hung up " when I was at the kitchen sink! No backer for the cabinet. It was supported by the valance at the bed ad with an added bracket screwed to the wall.

I think these mods are great.
I'll have to add them to my dream sheet.

I think it would be easy enough to turn the bed around.
Just extend the nose over the tongue. lol. Course I'm
sure that would be quite a task to redo or remake the
molds. But keeping weight and costs down is great so
far the way it is. Maybe in the future there will be an
additional model.

I still maintain this rv family is tops.

I'm just about to rip out our trailer (Boler 17') and would love to see more pics for ideas. You are doing a great job.
