My UHaul 13' CT Mods

Cute "little" kitchen faucet from Home Depot. It is used at your kitchen sink for filtered cold water only. Perfect.

For those of you who have taken the LP Gas tank off, I used the remaining steel on the tongue to hold the spare tire. Just drill holes for 12 inch long, 1/2 inch galvanized bolts.

Took the stove out and put in a new Coleman camping stove. Uses the short fat LP Gas bottles and goes outside very easily. It stays put on the counter when driving even over big bumps.

In the next picture, note the four short round legs (cut from closet pole). They are the legs outside on the table and hold it in place inside. Look in the hole to see plywood on top of the icebox. This allows two more plastic dish pans for food storage.

Old stove top metal base (with plywood added) to cover hole when stove it outside.

If you have the original 13 inch steel wheels for your UHaul CT with 3 tiny nubs (bumps) on the inside the wheel flange there are brand new baby moons and trim rings you can order. They fit perfectly. They are part number RC2M (Baby Moons) and TR16SF (Trim Rings) from www.hubcapmike.com.

Nice looking mods, I especially like the cover over the sink and the faucet.

We did similar mods on our Tote 'N' Tarry, but also took out the rusty fridge and now keep a porta potty in its space. We also replaced the old stove top with a cutting board from Ross, but put Velcro strips on the bottom to keep it from falling off in transit. We have two cook tops now, one which uses the propane bottles, and one with two electric heating elements, which can also be used outdoors, especially in windy weather. It's nice to be creative while still budgeting the cash. Yours looks great!
