Need underlay under Allure Ultra?

I plan on cleaning and priming the OSB first. Do I need and underlay to prevent mold?

If you want to prevent mold you can prep the OSB with Concrobium then prime with one of Kilz primers.

For underlay I used the square mesh foam stuff meant for carpets. I used it to compensate for some of the irregularities in the floor surface. It gives a nice feel under the allure cork pattern. I'd like to think that it also helps take a bit of the edge off of a cold floor.

I have done 3 floors now in trailers, 2 on top the old floor and one I primed/painted the bare wood. Did not use the underlayment. I think it is for below grade situations.

No underlayment needed. Its easy to install and comes out great. I sanded rough areas, filled holes, primed and I painted with a deck paint. The deck paint wasn't necessary, but I thought it would provide some additional protection for the subfloor. That's just me though. I usually do things for the "what if" situations. The nice thing about priming is that it really gives you a clean surface to start with. I don't think any amt of cleaning these old floors would provide the same "clean" surface surface.

Well, my flooring came in a couple of days ago so I guess I need to get on it! Just finished priming the floor. Maybe I can install tonight
