Here's another storage idea using netting. I happened to find a hanging shoe organizer that fit perfectly on my closet cabinet. With a little modification I was able to get it to fit snugly. I simply added some strips of elastic on the bottom. The custom shelves are set back so the depth of the pockets fit when the door is closed. I think one could modify a standard hanging shoe organizer relatively easily.

Hey Maggie and Raz
I love your netting and am going to attempt something similar before an upcoming trip.
If you were to do it again, would you start with the metal stiffening or use lighter elastic?
Any other thoughts now that your netting has many miles on it?

Nice job on those simple but very efficient mods.
I have always found that the four(4) small rectangular cushions fit nicely between the ceiling and the bottom, outer edge of the side shelves to keep most items in place.
BTW, netting from vans and SUVs from an auto wrecker can be recycled and the price is usually right.

Embark upon this journey with enthusiasm and eagerness.
If we were expected to remain in one place we would have been created with roots
