This is the progress so far but now I'm having trouble with the trim :/
I couldn't find the trim Clayton used in a grey so I'm trying to use an aluminum trim that is not so compliant right now.

Hey Lyndsay, I used an adjustable angle square to find the angle and then traced it on to the trim piece. What type of aluminum trim are you using?

I used a stair nosing of rubber or vinyl, which we find in Home Depot.

Fixed with stainless screw and countersunk finishing washer.

SEARCH - Countersunk+Finishing+Washer - Home Improvement, Home Renovation, Tools, & Hardware | Home Depot Canada

There is less risk of wounds in feet and in knees with the rubber than with the metal.

I completed this change last summer and we are very satisfied.

Have a good day.

I think it's actually for walls. Not really sure but the flooring fits in nicely.
