I love the vintage campers with all the wooden interiors and I wanted to add more wood to the inside of my
Boler.
Some
U-Haul owners had done updated treatments of that center section that I also liked.
So this is what I came up with for my
Boler. It is a 1/4 ply panel, varnished the same as the rest of the interior, three coats of PolyAcrylic Satin varnish. Hung with two tubes of Liquid Nails and let cure, supported for a week. Edges caulked with Acrylic caulk.
The curve is copied from the radius of the "window shelf".
It looks wonky in that second shot, the roof is actually uneven side to side. It's not so bad in real life. But it was so much work that I am just going to live with it now!
