I figured out the picture resizing finally! My allures in too!

Mine just went in the trailer yesterday. I had some left over when I did my house this spring
and I love it. I'm all ready to leave tomorrow for 3 weeks of camping. Marina

For your update-I have Allure in my kitchen and breakfast area-for 3 years. I had 2 strips with a manufacturer defect, but it was easy to replace them(just follow the instructions). This summer, I'm doing one bathroom and the Scamp. It is easy care too.

I just took out the back benches and ripped up the carpet tonight in preparation for a floating cork floor. Flooring should be delivered to the store towards the end of next week. I'll show some pictures when I'm done with that.

I can't believe the huge difference the wood flooring is making in your campers. It all looks so nice!

This is not a great photo of the floor, but you can see some of the bamboo pattern Allure under the dinette table. After 2 years we are still very happy with our choice of flooring.

We didn't want to take up the original carpet because it was in such good shape. The original owners had alway kept it completely covered with a peice of sacrificial carpet, but I hated the way that was alway moving and bunching up.

I had a box and a half of cork click & lock planks left over from our kitchen remodel so I covered the main floor with it.
I like the way it looks and feels - plus the cork is easy to keep clean in the kitchen...we'll see how it works out in the Scamp.
I am intrigued with your 'cork over carpet' solution! It looks great and sounds pretty easy.
When putting down the cork floor over the carpet, did you have any issues with the edges, under the cabinets? Does the floor 'flex' because of the carpet underneath or move around in any way? Did you have to secure it in any way? What brand of cork floor did you use?
Sorry for all the questions, but it almost seems too easy to be true!
