Oh man I do too. Hope it wasnt a brown recluse. We have two and a half down here -the recluse, the black widow and the tarantula which is rather docile. I end up fogging my garage several times a year just "cuz" for the first two.
Hope it heals properly for you. A good shot of Tequila wont hurt either.

It's a recluse. It hasn't started rotting though, and it happened Saturday night, so I'm hoping I'm good on that. It sure hurts though, dear god.

Two shots in the arse, antibiotics, and Motrin for the fever. I can't take the painkillers due to work though (I also hate them in general), so hopefully I can tough it out at work.

Good to hear from you. Take your time to rest up and get well. Sometimes you need to just take a break from a big project but not for this reason.

And how did work go today? Are you still on antibiotics (I think you said you were taking them earlier?) If it was a brown recluse they are nasty spiders, I think their bite and what they can do to you is suppose to be worse than the bite of a copperhead, depending on where the copperhead gets you. Take care.

It was alright, I just got off work. I'm still on antibiotics. I think I'm going to the doc tomorrow, I have some skin starting to get loose, not sure whats going on under it.
I got the new water fill I posted on page 26 today, it's junk. When it's pulled out, water leaks between the two pieces at a decent rate, so if you're filling with jugs, you probably lose 10-15%. With it closed, it also seals the vent off. It's not airtight, but still. Also when closed, I dribbled water over the o-ring seal, and it trickled out the hose fitting, so every time it rained, it would have washed junk down the camper and into the tanks, gross.
I'm going back to the one with a door and screwed on cap. I'll have to figure out a way to fill it with jugs without leaking, since the hose will be almost horizontal.

That's what I've been doing and it works fine. I stopped carrying 6-gal jerry jugs. The more I fill them the more weight I had to wrestle. Milk crates made for 1-gal jugs proved friendly all around. (Water stations abound in parking lots of southwestern states. The crate is also motorcycle friendly.)
To fill the on-board tank I just use a funnel and short hose. The way I redid my Scamp tail lights it's perfect for a big rubber band or small bungee to hold the funnel. The street side hatch reveals tank level as I go. (It's nice when everything works in concert.)

That's the style I'm going to use, but I have the two fillers separate.

Me too. I am going to keep the water lines separate. Havent worked out the schematic yet to integrate the fresh, the potable and the pump all together in harmony with the potable water tank being a reserve. I'm hoping to find a diagram that suits my purpose with maybe a manual valve switch somewhere? Maybe the pump has a check valve in it so that I can tie the output of it into the city water input to the H2O heater and cold water flow. Again I dont have the logistics figured out yet. Let me know if you do

I'm using the fresh as my potable, it all runs through a filter. I have a diagram somewhere on my thread. I haven't installed the city water to fresh water fill valve yet, but I probably will now that I can't use that other filler.
