Battery cables ran.

In the closet with the cats, water, and chainsaw now. Tornado spotted a few blocks away supposedly, large hail, reporting a large tree down on my block. Spotters are seeking shelter in the car wash at the end of the block…

Hope it leaves your Scamp alone, that would be a total bummer.

Storm windows broken, vehicles dented up, vent cracked on scamp (nothing some caulking can't fix for now), got some water in from the hatches I installed with putty tape instead of butyl. I covered the top of them with butyl to stop it for now, I'll caulk them at my parents if its dry there. Nothing too major.

She's almost there (for the trip, at least)!

I need to get hinges for the two cabinet doors above the bed, put screws in the awning, and trim the right wheel well, then pack! Dad and I will be doing more work on it at my parents before we go camping Thursday.

My Mom still has the kitchen counter and table that matches your interior if you are interested. I can send you some Melmac dishes too. takes me back to the early 50s and home.

I was watching the news and the tornados and the fact they were heading your way. Glad all is ok.
Super Job Jared and have enjoyed riding along with you on your reno.

This is what hit here last week. From my sister in law in Cleburne.

Well, it all fits!

Still need to do awning screws, trim wheel well, check tire pressures, and load up. I should be on the road early morning.

Are you going to take any food/clothing along, or just pack like my hubby does when he goes off alone: All the toys on the property plus a single underwear change, a case of beer, and one giant bag of Cheetos?

We're not camping until Thursday, my dad is going to help me do some other things up there, and mom offered to help clean it, so I'm packing everything in the truck. When we're done, it will all go in the camper, so they can fit in the truck. Moms supplying all the food, and even offered to do laundry so I could get more done on it. My parents rock. They know I've been on a seven month grind to get this "done", so they're doing the rest so I don't have to worry about it.

What can I say. Awesome job. Thanks for posting to photobucket. Makes it a lot easier to slide through all the pictures.

Prop your feet up on a chair and have a beer for me. I see more tornados right now up there in your area. Damn. Where I am at in East Texas is supposed to be hit tomorrow at 5. I am thinking about investing in a buried shelter. I have been shooting dice for two long.
Enjoy that time off.

This is what makes it all worthwhile- isn't it a marvelous feeling to be out on the road with your home-away-from-home right behind you?

Have a great time, Jared!

We got the camper cleaned, threshold down, quilted stainless on the fridge, and ball milled aluminum edge trim on the table.

I'll try and get camping pics up, have to go 10 miles out to get any data on the phone.

It pulls incredibly well, mileage is only 12-13, but better than the 11.5 before it was redone. It was leveled, plugged in, awning out, awning mat down, chair out, beer in hand in less than twenty minutes, not bad for the first time.
