Welcome, and congrats on acquiring your wonderful "square egg". Hope you'll plan to attend the 2008 Oregon Gathering at Bullard's Beach State Park in July ... to show off the "Clam Shack"

We wish you safe travels and many, many happy memories (and lotsa clams!). Perhaps our paths will cross down the road. Take care - L 'n D

Just got back from trying out the campster this weekend at the beach. Thanks for all the welcomes and comments in my absense. I'll try to answer your questions...

Frederick- The spare is the same size as the trailer tires, except a passenger rated tire instead of trailer tire. I think it's just the photo and the black wheel, but it may be a little bigger. The tires are 205/75-14s.

Joseph - It has an icebox. Yes, the guy did nice work.

Gina - It towed and parked just fine. The longer the tongue the easier the backing. The storage box is a little narrower width than the trailer, even with the spare. It probably would hit the tow vehicle if I jacknifed hard enough. There is a wooden battery box behind the metal box. So if the tongue was extended 2', and I have 2.5' of storage boxes now, I have maybe 6" less clearance than original?

Dave - It was painted an almond color. As far as the skirt goes, they are both off at this point. I have the one, just thought it would be nice to have two...

I am thinking of attending the Oregon meeting at Bullard's Beach. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Scott
