I started by laying the first piece from the shower door to the front of the refrigerator .The next piece from the refrigerator down by the sink cabinet toward the back. This gave me a good starting point. The pieces next to the rest of the cabinets half to be cut to fit. Took about four hours to finish the job. We decided to use cove molding and attached it with a few brass screws. Tom

Very nice, I like the trim as well. Did you use the Allure brand?

WB...I used Surface Sourse vinyl flooring from Lowe's. It was on sale for $16.70 a box. The total cost of floor, trim and screws came to about $65.00

It looks wonderful!
What was your flooring before you put this in?
Did you have to remove the original flooring and, if so, how difficult was that?
Thanks,
Fran

The Casita had gray carpet which is glued to a plywood floor. I simply laid the vinyl over the carpet. I numbered the planks as I installed them. If by chance the floor gets wet I'll simply remove the vinyl, let it dry and replace it.Tom

Yep, love that wood look. My trailer came with similar vinyl flooring, but I think the stuff you chose looks a bit nicer than mine.

Great job. That's a vinyl floor? It looks like a floating laminate. Did you put flooring above, under the table at the back wall? And if you did what did you do for trim? And how did you attach it?

XL....When I went to Lowe's to pick out a floor the salesman referred to it as vinyl. As a result of your question "That's a vinyl floor" I went back to Lowe's today (to pick up something else) and checked the label on the box of the flooring I used. Sure enough it showed the floor to be laminate. And yes it floats. I covered the entire floor with the laminate.I extended the floor to the wiring at the back. I did not secure it per say, but when I reinstalled the table leg holder it secured the floor in place. I then used cove molding and secured it with a few brass screws. I then replaced the wire cover board to cover the wiring. TomB
