Sure, I just used the factory-supplied hinges; used #8 X 1/2" stainless steel screws. The whole thing fits exactly as did the original screen door... the overall dimensions of the new door are exactly the same as the aluminum-framed original.

I bet it gives your Casita a whole different feeling.

Casita en el bosque?
Thanks! The new screen door "matches" the cabinet doors and other "woodwork" inside... I have tried to maintain a concinnity of design throughout the Casita ( more here: Our Casita Photos )

We love this little camper!

Wow, That is terrific! And here I was wondering about getting some magnets & a piece of netting to attach to my door drip cap. Ha!

Unbelievable Rob,
I did not realize the exterior door was redone in addition to the screen door and I love the wood accents, you have made your Casita into a Scamp deluxe interior, well done. I need to make me one of those bath doors, another nice piece of woodworking, again nice work.

Oh my goodness, I just looked at your slide slow. Your Casita is amazing the woodwork looks so great. I am sure people would be lined up if you ever decided to do it as a business but I am sure it was a labour of love!

Very nice, master craftsmanship! You've certainly set the bar pretty high!
