On my last camping trip, I noticed some of the LEDs in my front 2 dome
lights were burnt out. Upon closer inspection, I saw that some of the individual LEDs overheated and actually fell out. They're of the bulb replacement type with a BA15 base. Then I ordered some cheap $3 48-LED panels from e-bay. These two were too hot, and the way they attached (by 2-way sticky tape), the tape actually shrunk and melted. Then I ordered these from ebay.

Initially I was hesitant since these only have 6 LEDs. But after installing them, I have to say they are really nice and bright, I like them. Also the way they are designed, with the panel mounted off the back, there is plenty of air circulation for cooling. The color is not quite warm white, a bit cooler than that, but not blue at all.
I like these better than replacing bulbs with LEDs, and at $9 a very good deal. Hope this helps the folks looking to upgrade to LEDs.
