Smile Not exactly a mod but...

I restored an antique camp table that my grandparents used in the 1920s and 1930s. Made up of 23 wood slats an inch and a half wide by 32 inches long. Slats so it can be taken off the folding legs and rolled up. Going in our Egg Camper later today. Used it 30+ years ago and forgot about it. Now a "family heirloom".

Is it an ancestor to this one?

Ancestor, yes. Exactly the same idea but the legs fold differently. Slats are a hair less than 1 1/2 inches wide and about 33 inches long. They're made of hardwood, possibly oak.

We have been using a new version of the slat table for many years. It's great!
