Original Vintage Trillium Ceiling Track

Tom Young at Trillium Cali. told me I could let out the good news. This is from my emails with him-

Hi Mike:

I can not match the old Ensolite material. I'm using a different vinyl covering as can be seen in the slide show on the web site. New tooling costs run about $50K.

Additionally - no matter you do, it's a very messy job to replace the Ensolite. I would try to get some contact cement in behind the existing Ensolite, and re-glue it.

Some good news - which I haven't made public - I'm very close to getting a supplier for the original ceiling track. All the vintage owners should be thrilled about that.

And then this-
Hi Mike:

Thanks for the 'thumbs up'. I've had my share of start-up & growing pains, but hope that's pretty well behind me now.
I'll have a 'big' announcement in the next 2 weeks.

Re: Ceiling track. I'm finalizing the deal in the next 2 days - Then you're welcome to 'break the news'.

Tom

So, it looks like he will announce when it is available. He seems like a nice guy and he got right back to me when I emailed him about the "Replacing Ensolite" thread by Ken.
Anyway, good news for those that need this part!

It would be a boon to a lot of trailer owners to be able to get the orig track and seam moulding.
Hope they can get enought for all the orders their going to get.

Hi All
Latest from Tom @ Trillium "QUOTE"
I'm not quite ready to OK the run on the T-moulding. The undelying female piece is being run now and will be availible for shipping soon.
T-moulding will run as soon as I'm settled on the colour of the new wall covering. I expect to have that soon. Once done, the T moulging will be run immediately.
Vintage trailers had 3 different wall covering colors: + what will be used now. Trying to find a happy medium. Results will be posted on the web very soon, with pricing.
FYI: CanAm in London (Ont) is a Trillium dealer and they will probably stock some of this - but do not have any better info at this right now.
Tom.

Hurray this looks very promising for all us rentovators!

Thanks for the update Ron. It's always good to have this kind of info tucked away in a not-so-neat corner of my brain.
