I agree. You'll probably be shown the exit if you are caught directly discharging any waste water, even "grey water," at most campgrounds. That, and it is really rude, unhealthy and inconsiderate to other campers who will be unfortunate enough to have to follow someone that does this. Nobody wants to wallow around in someone's soap scum and filth in a campsite. It's disgusting at best.

that said, I'm still interested in an outside shower kit for my Escape, to mounted street side not far from the hot water heater, and to be used primarily for rinsing dirty feet and such. I like the ones that use a removable coil-hose.

Shoer set-up

When tent camping, I have used a garden 1 gallon pump spray tank (new) with an old solar shower on-off shower head. Heat up 1/3 hot water, add to the cold water in the tank, pump it up and have a nice, hot shower. The spray tank hose also has an on-off switch. I use a pop up shelter with this. Solar shower bags work, if you have a good place to hang them.....and that is not always available. This works anywhere. I have used this in my Casita when I did not want to de-winterize yet on the road. You do have to re-pump 1/2 way into the shower, but that is life.

I use a bio-degradable soap. I realize this practice is not accepted by many. My thoughts are I and we have just added 21 pounds of CO2 to everybodys atmosphere, for EACH gallon of gasoline we used to get somewhere, so where is the purity?

I have used one of our large plastic bins to take a shower in. I rigged up a curtain to hang from the awning put the curtain bottom inside bin and captured all the water. When finished I dumped the water in the restroom.

I wondered the same thing . How does one drive down the road towing a trailer
while spewing pollution into the air then procede down a wilderness road while trampling the vegetation then get to their campsite and procede to light a campfire that is more smoke then fire and yet accuse someone who puts a quart of soapy water on the ground of killing Mother Nature
It seems like a good example of selective indignation!!
