ParkLiner tall cabinet over stove

So far this cabinet is a disaster! It's tall and shallow esp. At the top, but in a very convenient location over where the built in stove would be, but where I use butane burners.

Not sure what's happening with attachments. If missing I'll post separately

It does look kind of challenging space-wise.

Could you install shelves?
Use plastic storage containers?
Consider wire racks for shelving?
Use some bathroom/shower type racks (think stuff at Target) screwed or command or velcro attached to inside of cabinet doors?

We really haven't added and mods to that cabinet yet. We just use the upper half for a door mounted makeshift spice rack and the lower half for our tall stuff. What you can't see from this angle is the rack for aluminum foil, Saran Wrap, and ziplock baggies.
This is really our most used cabinet.
I am curious to see what others suggest.

In my ParkLiner, this is by far the most used cabinet. It's convenient and large enough for most of my cooking supplies. I recently purchased a spice rack to mount to the door. Will post a pic when I have time. The more I use my PL, the more I appreciate the layout!

Put shelving in there to fit your tall narrow stuff.

When I picked up my Parkliner Chandler told me the reason for the tall cabinet was mostly for storing a coffeemaker. Of course if you don't store a coffeemaker then you just have a tall cabinet. I store my Keurig in that spot

Thanks, all. This has given me a couple of new ideas. I have a tall French-press-Keurig coffee maker that does fit well into the tall space -- just needs a housing. Love Sid's spice rack idea. on the lower part of the cabinet I keep my nesting camp pot set. A shelf over them would have to accommodate the fact that the floor of the cabinet is about 1 1/2" below the lip.


Charlie, I'm thinking that a custom fit is the best idea. Will keep noodling.

You can have anything you can sketch/describe for a standoff that just sits inside your present cabinet. This is in wifeys kitchen but size is your choice.

Our 13' Scamp has a similarly awkward cupboard under the sink with pipes, hoses and sink in the way. See photos for our solution. Basically, I used plastic shoe boxes full and half-sized, labeled the ends and put in cupboard in order of usage (frequent, infrequent). I have open boxes in the front to hold things like our canisters (which are put on the counter when we are parked. Boxes are from The Container Store http://www.containerstore.com/s/our-...&q=shoe%20bxes (or Dollar Store).
