Part and Component weights

I like to keep weight in mind with any and all items I put in or take out of my FGRV. Figured I'd start a thread on it for future reference. I may decide to maintain a spreadsheet or something similar here.

We've seen the thread on weights of whole trailers, but I've also been curious about weight of some of the parts.

So, I'll start with this:

Removed the gaucho / couch back from our 1981 13' Casita to have more room on the bench for our dogs' crates.
Weighed it, and was surprised to find it's right at 30 lbs! That's a fair amount of weight removed from the very front of the trailer!

Gaucho/Couch back...............1981 Casita 13.................30.0 lbs

I had a 15,000 BTU Coleman-Mach roof top air conditioner added to my trailer. The paperwork said it weighs 100 pounds.

1981 Casita 13' Component Weights:

Gaucho/Couch back (wood and cushion) 30.0 Lbs
Front Bench access covers (ea) 3.4
Front Bench Cushion and Banana Cushion 10.6
Rear Bed/Dinette Cushions 19.5
Dinette Table/Bed Support 23.2
Rear Dinette access covers (ea) 4.6
Silverware Drawer (Just drawer, not frame) 3.8
Spare tire and wheel 32.0

I'm surprised that the rear bed is 20 lbs of cushions!

Pulled the upper cabinets over the rear bed and front bunks today. Both weighed 12.6 lbs with the doors on.
