Peep Hole
I have a 2010 Casita SD and want to install a peep hole. I've read some of the posts on CasitaClub but no real solution that suits me. The screen door is definitely an obstacle. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Electronic peep hole tool could be an option but don't know the best location for install.

Perhaps a bit over the top, and maybe more than you want to put into this project, but I replaced the frosted door window with a real openable, real glass, real aluminum frame window. Not only get better air circulation because it has a vertical slider half, but is tinted glass instead of polycarbonate plastic, so you can see out just like a real window..well, it is a real window.

If the screen is an obstacle, why not place the peep hole somewhere other than the door?
The typical peep hole has a lens with a wide view, so you may actually get a better look at who's at the door with a placement through the wall.

How about a porthole? You can go has big or small as you like.
If you like antiques, some shops have some very nice old ones that would look great on a egg.
But Joe Biden said "[if] you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door."

I don't think Joe Biden said that. Could you provide a link, please?

I really doubt that yet another firearms argument would be productive. I suggest those interested in the Biden quote read it in the context of the interview in which the statement was made: The F&S Gun Rights Interviews: Joe Biden, Vice President of the United States | Field & Stream. It has no relevance to peepholes.

If access and viewing angles work, I think that Floyd's idea of the peephole through the wall is even better.

As a single traveler, I think it's a valid question. Is it possible to put the peep hole between the door and the door drip guard? Casita doors are pretty short....
I guess this is a point in favor of an air-craft style door and a bi-fold screen door. No screen to get in the way.
