Pictures of Uhaul interior and new Scamp windows

Hi everyone,

Thanks to all for the advice about putting the Scamp windows into the Uhaul CT13, especially Mary and Bob. Here are a couple pictures of the windows, one in front and the other in back, as well as a few pictures of the now-leakproof, hopefully, interior.

Looks great. I love what you did with the textile wall and door coverings.

Do I see a bike rack on the rear, how is it attached? It looks like the one Mary's father had on the rear of his motor home years ago. First trip out it broke before they went 10 miles. Rear bike racks are a serious topic of mine, I've seen a couple break right off, had one of mine bend, and built rear receivers for bike racks on several campers. Bikes on a rear rack tend to bounce, and they have a lot of leverage hanging on a rack. I'm now on my third rack, a Swagman, that is rated for rear use. The frame on the Uhauls is not the easiest to build a receiver on. Mine has about 6000 miles on it now and seems OK. Be sure you have a good rack, securely mounted. As for leaks on the Uhauls, I had them everywhere, windows, roof, door hinge, marker lights, think I finally fixed all of them.

Like!

Looking mighty fine, like factory original! And, having sliding windows fwd and aft has got to be the ultimate for ventilation!
