Propane freezer

Does anyone have any experience or input on propane freezers? I am considering using one in my Boler as a constant source of ice for the small amt of food to cool and a swamp cooler. Thoughts you all?

Do you know of a propane freezer that will fit in an FGRV? I don't think that I have ever seen one.

Great idea. Do they exist ? They would have to be vented to the outside for combustion air and exhaust. I know small electric 120 volt / 12 volt freezers are available and work well, but without a generator and a bank of 12 deep cycle batteries with inverter it would not work for me. If I had a large motor home I would have one for sure.

Propane freezer

I think your best bet is one of the 12 volt swing compressor freezers. You do need to have enough solar to keep your battery up if you are camping for a long period. They work really well and don't draw a lot of current.
They can also run as a fridge when you don't need the ice.

Here's a link: https://www.lehmans.com/p-2863-uniqu...rigerator.aspx

Not exactly designed with a small RV in mind, but it is small and is also 3 way But I don't see how you can use it on LP while inside without a vent.

And $925+tax (Including a whopping $175 shipping charge) one might as well get a regular RV refrigerator that can be built in.

But it might work for some
