Quick Converter question

I have a question on installing a power converter into my trailer.
Currently I'm running just 110v power from a breaker box with 2 15amp breakers.

I can get a 45amp power converter and charger for reasonably cheap and I'm wondering if the 45amp is too big to install?

also, with the installation, would it go,
breaker box--->converter---->battery?

Yep. Pretty much, although you could eliminate the original breaker box and bring the 110 service directly into the converter. I just installed a WFCO model with room for two double 110 v breakers, and four 12v circuits.

I replaced the converter / charger in my 2001 Casita because it had only 2 breakers and 4 fuses AND it hummed.

After shopping around I called Casita and they beat everyone else's price for a 30 Amp Converter/Charger with more breakers and fuses and NO hum.
