Radio antenna mounts on Scamp

I was asked in a PM about my ham radio antenna mounts and it may be of interest to others.
The truck mount is a no drill mount common on the internet, I can’t use magnets because the truck is aluminum and the top is all glass. The three RV mounts on the awning mounts are just a steel bracket from Menards that already had the correct hole size for the AM/FM antenna and would also take a mag-mount.

For fixed operation, I am using an MFJ "fishing pole" mast (vertical) and am clamping it to the jack on the front (approx 30' high). Couple of hose clamps hold it up just fine. Using a broadband manual tuner, it works well on 80-10m. Have an old Icom 7000 for the rig, solar charger and running off the 12V system, plus a backup LI-FE battery pack with solar charger as well. Should have the whole rig at the hamfest in Shelby, NC this year. Mobile and FM ops are normally from the TV.

I do have a 35' pushup mast, but carrying it is a problem. It will hold 6m, 2m and 220 yagis, rotator by armstrong or an old RS rotor (using an old inverter for power) makes it a nice rover rig. Do we need an "Fibreglass Egg net?"

Was and is, but I had a Sioux Falls, SD address through “Your Best Address” for several years.

Here is how I attached the 2" schedule 20 PVC pipe. A "Green Fishing Pole" 30 ft telescoping antenna slips right in.
By the way a 2" schedule 40 PVC has too small an ID for the antenna to fit.
I use a tuner remote mounted at the base and four non-resonant radials that I also use for an NVIS antenna with a balun at the center.Click image for larger version

Penninger "Tipper" mount on custom drive-on plate with 35' of penninger mast sections attached in this pic.
The mount is the bottom part and is about 3; tall and has in inner diameter of 2" so that anything that is or can be made to go inside a 2" pipe is fair game to use as a mast!

I have sections of this mast but they are 8' each and sort of a pain for casual use.

I also have a telescoping Hastings Hot Stick that goes to 35' in sections that collapse top about 5' and each locks with a positive button lock.
These are about 5 times thicker in each section than the MFJ poles and are really tough and stiff and can hang a decent Omni & Yagi at the same time even when not guyed.

I mainly use this for Event stuff but the Casita will hold in place just fine as well.
