I bought 2 sets (aimed for 400 lumens). One on eBay from Hong Kong and one set from a us lighting distributor. both "warm " white.

I really like The color of the ones from hong kong got here pretty quick and were cheaper.

Here is the link :

Look at this on eBay:

Warm White BA15s 1156 1210 68 SMD LED Car Turn Tail Signal Light lamp Bulb 12V

Go to superbrightleds.com They have charts showing brightness and what led replaces what regular bulb. Good ones are not cheap, but worth it.

You can check out amazon.com as well.

I got these: http://www.amazon.com/Ledwholesalers...words=1156+led

...and they have been working great. I have four light fixtures in my scamp and these are definitely bright enough to eat by, though would be a little dim to read an entire book. Superbrightleds.com is also a good source for bulbs, as suggested above.

Gee... I wish I'd have known of those just-plug-'em-in bulbs when I put in LED a couple of months ago. Nice. Isn't it great that you can have ALL the LED's on in a Scamp and still draw less power than ONE of the older incandescent bulbs?

We got ours here:
http://www.ledtrailerlights.com/rv/casita.htm
There is a discount applied thanks to the Casita Forum folks making them $13.95 each. Usual price is $15.85.
The warm whites give wonderful light - just like incandescents - hard to tell the difference.

I'm in the process of adding a solar array to an overhead camper I just bought.
It will be the same system I've installed on three eggs and another overhead camper.
I have used at least 25 1156 36 led panels lights purchased on ebay.
They were about $3.00 each 3 years ago now there about six.
The panel is held to the reflector of the fixture with high bond tape.
They are comparatively inexpensive and put out enough light to comfortably read buy.
Because of the price I bought a couple of spares but have never had the need to use them.
One of my sons has the trailer I first added solar to 3 years ago and has yet to replace an LED panel light.

I bought a bunch of these several years ago for my stick built 24' trailer. They have worked very well for me. I bought several warm ones, and 2 of the less pleasant whiter ones for brighter lightning when needed

http://www.ebay.com/itm/G4-24-LED-SM...item20cb4735e5

It seems You can still get this kind for about $3.00 each.

The trick for the type I linked to is you also need to order some adapters as well, but the adapters are real cheap if you buy a "set" of them.
Here are 10 of the adapters for $13.50.

Just found the kind Perry has used....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Warm-Whi...d0e4aa&vxp=mtr

If I did it again I would get these- they are only $2.18 each including shipping. Sure beats $25-$40 a bulb for some of those other ones.

Similar to the 48 LED panels that I used. I've posted elsewhere that these have no voltage regulation, but it can be added for less than $2.
