Refrigerator thermometer

I found this little blister packaged indoor/outdoor thermometer/clock at the local auto parts store for about $10. The finish closely matched the bezel of my Escape 19's Dometic Fridge.

It has a switch for indoor and outdoor temperature or clock display at right and a small pushbutton lamp button for the backlight.

It comes with a remote temp sensor on about 6' of fine wire, which I ran into the fridge and left most of it coiled up in a small bundle on the top shelf.

Regards,

Matt

That's what I use Matt... an indoor/outdoor and the outdoor runs inside the refer. I bought the one I use at Wally World for about $10 too, have had it for about 5 years and have only gone through 3 AA batteries (which I remove when not in use). It's important to keep track of the temperature on my old 3-way and this suits me just fine. There are thermometers that use a remote control, but I figure I'm never more than about 10 feet from the refrigerator when inside... so why bother with the added technology or expense.

This one looks pretty cool, too:

Car Thermometer and Voltage Monitor

It's $20, but it runs on 12v and has a battery low alarm, icing alert, simultaneous indoor outdoor display with clock and a backlight. If it has a voltmeter display, that would be a hat trick!

We've got one in our '13 Casita. Works great.

Wireless

We use the wireless I/O thermometer from the house. Both units are battery powered.

We keep the indoor unit in the truck while towing the Casita so we can monitor the refrigerator temperature.
