Relocating fridge to closet

Well kinda. When i got my new to me 1985 Scamp 16', it did not have a fridge. If i go simple then i would get a direct fit 1.9 cu ft fridge. I could also get a 2.5 cu ft fridge, but it would stick out about 3-4".

What i was thinking of doing is installing a fridge where they are on the deluxe models, that being in the closet.

Has anyone done this before. Ive scoured the forum but dont seem to find anything about doing this. I know it is possible because some come from the factory like this, but is it worth my time and energy?

Again, thanks in advance for your thoughts...

Sha, I'm sure it could be done, but then you would have another set of vents you would have to add, and hopefully you would fill in/seal the old vent holes.

You also have to seal between the back of the fridge and the living space to prevent exhaust from getting in. I would suggest you find a copy of the installation manual for the fridge you wish to use. There might be one in the document center. If not look on line. Good luck, Raz

Our 2000 16 Deluxe Side dinette Scamp has the small fridge under the stove, on the curb side just inside the door. The closetmis in the front corner by the door.
