Removed my stove

I don't ever cook in side and the PO took out the original stove and mounted a camping stove over the hole. So I decided to remove it. I used a peace of 1/4 inch plywood cut to the size of the hole, backed it with another peace 1/2 inch larger than the hole screwed down through the fiber glass to pull it all up snug. It looks pretty good I just have to go get some appliance enamel that will mach the color of my counter top and it will be hard to tell. I did not want to glass it in because if I ever sell it (HA) it can be made original without a lot of work.

Looks good and like you said, if anyone wants to reinstall a stove at some point, they can.

The PO of my boler built a 'shelf extender' if you will. They never cooked in the trailer and the wife wanted more counter space. It fits over top of the stove and extends over the bunks. It can be removed if you want to cook inside and put back on if you want more counter. Its pretty handy especially when the heater stopped working on our maiden trip. Making coffee and frying some eggs and bacon on the stove really warmed up the lil Boler.

Tom... Thanks!

nlife.... I can still set the stove on the counter if it's raining to hard or to cold to cook out side. I really like all the counter space I have now.

I haven't had my Boler very long and it does seem like most people cook outside on a portable bbq. I'll probably go that way too. So far I have found that the counter space is at a premium and I've had to do most of the prep work with the counter in place then remove it to cook. Other than that, the stoves main use has been to make coffee.

I agree that you did a nice job!
