removing cabinets in 1985 scamp

over the weekend, my wife bought a 1985 scamp in rough condition. she would like to remove the sink cabinet and burner cabinet to somehow expand the dinette/bed area. it's mainly going to be a sleeper. I did some looking on youtube but did not find anything on how to remove the cabinets. this scamp is all fiberglass with wood doors if that makes a difference. i'm just not sure where to start with this.

They are held in place with rivets from the outside. You will see white plastic caps covering them. You have to decide which rivets are holding the cabinets in place. Drill out the rivets from outside. Inside you will see acorn nuts hiding the inside expanded rivets.

Just be careful to replace the brackets holding up the top cabinets - they are holding the roof of the trailer up.

Same goes for the closet. It's also there to support the trailer roof.
