repair flooring

I am a 70 + female and have neither the $$'s or the strength to replace the flooring in my Eriba Puck 197?..
Can i lay a sheet of plywood on top of the rotten flooring and will it hold?
How else would I do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just how rotten is your floor?

If it is just a little soft and it feels 'spongy' when you walk on it, your proposed repair will probably be fine for you. A less drastic repair might even be feasible.

If the floor is rotten to the point where you can push a screwdriver thru it, a more involved repair is needed.

Oh My

I am afreaid to try and poke a screwdriver thru the floor..I guess over in a corner under the sink would be okay..so if i can pole it thru with just my hand and not a hammer you think i would have to have more extensive work done..Who in the heck would i take it to..What kind of business?
thanks for your reply

Don't poke with a hammer providing force to the screwdriver. Moderate to heavy pressure with your hand is enough to determine if the wood is solid or rotten.

Where to take the trailer to get repaired is a good question. Where do you get your car fixed? Are there any RV parks near you? Both of those places might know where a good RV repair shop is located. Another place to check would be a boat dealer that sells fiberglass boats.
