Replacement Scamp fridge?

The Dometic RM 2193 is listed as the recommended replacement for the old RM 2202. However, the RM 4223 is quite similar in height and width to the old unit, plus a little deeper. Has anyone contemplated replacing an old RM 2202 in a Scamp with a 24" deep counter, with the RM 4223? Anyone attempted it?

I installed the RM 2193 in a 70's scamp. I believe it was 24" deep cabinet and had about 1/2 inch to spare depth wise. As the body is convex there is more space toward the upper level of the fridge. However, it was a new installation replacing an icebox. The cutout was the same size as the original icebox. I believe that the 4223 is slightly deeper as well as taller. The cutout can be enlarged but if it's any deeper than the 2193 you may have to fir out the face to make it fit. Not exactly the answer to your question but hope it helps.
