Replacing Scamp aluminum drip edge

As I work through what is turning out to be a major refit of our 13' Scamp I have started to look at what I consider and unsightly drip edge above the door. Has anyone fabricated a fiberglass replacement that is molded into the shell? As i am planning on painting, the fiberglass work would not be a big deal, I am looking for design ideas, I am thinking something that follows the shape of the door better.

I'm going to use Auto vent shade covers on my Boler, I have a straight smoked one that was on our Dodge Durango and it looks good up there, I'm also going to use the same thing on the two side windows.

That sounds like a good idea. One idea I had was something sort of like what the UHauls have.

You can go to Scamp parts online and order the original part. You can also get the vent shades in clear and paint the backside to match your trailer.

Two points...
1.] look at the design above the door on a Burro 17WB.
2.] The installation of an awning can eliminate the need for the drip edge altogether.

Ahhh, I like the aluminum drip cap over the door. Polish it up to a mirror shine (and wax it!), then polish the belly band... matching shine!
