"Eight Thousand Pounds. Yes. Eight Thousand Pounds. It keeps the truck from flying off into orbit when I press on the gas pedal. Last time it came back down out in the desert, good thing I had four wheel drive to get home again..."

Anchor

Don, that's it! You could rename your Scamp "The Anchor."

Yup, works for me.

Hi Glen!

Hi Glen!

I'm guessing you tow with the first one ... the cute little blue car because it matches your pin-striping. The gold and red tow vehicles clash.:)

Bingo !!!!

Chuck got it in one ! ':wave'

Why yes we do tow with that cute little supercharged hot rod ! ';)'

And Yes Chuck was right again....Because its blue matches the Casita.

Yeah right

Yeah right.

Note to all who don't know ... Glen also sells life-sized replicas of the Brooklyn and London bridges ... if you believe he tows with that little bitty car!

He tows with the fire-engine red Tahoe ... a retired fire captain's truck, no less.

But he enjoys toying with pix of little cars (or snappy golden ones) pretending to be hooked up to his trailer.

sehr schoene, Herr Lescher!!

Your rig is glass class at its finest.....outstanding! Enschuldigen sie bitte, I have mimicked a couple of your ideas, and since the Casita has been sterilized of graphics, it's time for some striping...some red to go with the truck. Maybe some yellow for Janifer (I have some neat caution tape........hmmm). Now if I can just figure out how to do that screen door like yours-

Phil

It all looks good Glen- but the fire truck rules....and those wheels. ;)

Striping Tape

Phil: Don't use "CAUTION" or "CRIME SCENE" tape or you may have trouble with John Law. I used 3M 2" wide Automotive Striping Tape. Got it through local NAPA store. Be careful putting it on as it doen't come off very easily if you make a mistake! Cost: 3 rolls, black, yellow and red about 70 bucks. Enough left over to cut 1/4" strips to change original Scamp "brown" stuff to bright red.

How 'bout this for a tow vehicle?

Couldn't resist posting these after all the talk about F250's, V-10"s etc. A 14HP Tecumsah does just fine in low gear but a little slow in high on the hills!<img src=http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/uploads/3e45a291c572eDont need any F150 only 14 HP.JPG/>

Watchout USPS, I'm in high gear now going down hill!
