They actually do and I came across this one when looking at weights but this one weighs in at more than the lightweight one I referenced above although still considered "light-weight": The Coleman Polar Cub 9200 Air Conditioner | Mello Mike's Overland Adventures

WOW, and it's on sale (online only) right now from Camping World for $301.43. Not much more than a window air conditioner.

This website is pretty good if you are interested in DIY projects.
Cathy, thanks for posting this. It's very innovative. Makes me think.

That ad has been running for several weeks, it's for a now discontinued model and CW apparently is out of stock. About 20 peeps on the Toyota Campers site must have contacted every CW on the planet and came up with one. It's now sold.

And I might add that most roof top tents weigh a little over 100 lbs. Mine weighs in at around 125#. There are some lighter weight fabric tents but I think around 85 lbs is the lightest I've seen. Once you load up a couple of people in there the total roof weight can exceed 400 lbs easily.

Used roof tents come up for sale on Expedition Portal fairly regularly so you might try watching the for sale section of that site.
