Lights! Lights!

Wow, Roy. Love your lights. Especially the one by the door, so you can turn on the outside from inside.
:chin
Was it difficult to install?

Storage Compartment light

Charles, On second look, I think the picture labeled “storage compartment” is really the lower fridge access.

:wave Roy, on your Casita do you light the fridge from outside, through this compartment door? (Looks a bit like the one on our '89, although I can tell yours is newer.)

Man, I don't blame you for wanting a light in there, if I'm right about what I'm looking at.

favorite

I loved them all, but my fav is the boat sets, number 13. Did that to my canoe about 20 years ago and every one thought crazy. now they sell them for just that reason. This is a good idea.

good ideas

I am going to put an inside switch for the door light and replace the door
frosted window with a clear one so we can see who is at the door with out
opeing it first. I am also going to add two lights one at the left side and
at the back with inside switches. I will do this after the warranty has passed
so that Casita can't say that I voided the warranty.

Casita Mods

Roy,

Fantastic ideas, and your cost conscious approach is fitting with the small egg environment. Thanks for sharing with us. This is what drew me to the "Egg World", all the respondents add to the fun of camping and the usefulness of our trailers. Thanks again, Fx.

towel rack

I'm impressed with the towel setup; it makes good use of hard-to-use space in top of cabinet, it's location is handy and it shouldn't unroll while underway!:)

Pete and Rats

PS TP and paper towel unrolling tip; squeeze that darn Charmin until the cardboard tube is no longer round!

Is this a 16' SD model?

And besides the stuff attached using succion cups, how
would you otherwise attach stuff to fiberglass body?

attaching to fiberglass

:wave yes suction cups do come loose, use a cleaner before attaching, also velco tape is good.the first repair i made was to replace the plastic p trap under the shower with a rubber p trap, the first casita with a rubber p trap i think,at least casita didn't know they were available. I also use peices foam rubber to stuff between items, like the tv in the picture # 20 has foam to hold tv in place while rolling.:inbox isn,t this a great site:wave

Door window

At the Lake Casitas rally, I saw somebody (sorry, forgot who) who had replaced the frosted glass with "one way" reflective glass. It's not great for night time, when you would need to hang a shade, but during the day, you can't see in.
